Boca Negra Canyon provides easy access for visitors who want to view petroglyphs and other interesting geologic and cultural features up close.
In 2013, portions of the Boca Negra Canyon Facility will be under construction. For your safety, please do not enter construction zones.
About Boca Negra Canyon
Three developed trails take visitors on self-guiding tours ranging from 5 minutes to 30 minutes roundtrip. Water, restrooms and picnic tables are available.
Monday - Friday: $1 per vehicle
Saturday - Sunday: $2 per vehicle
The park is located just north of Montano Road at 6900 Unser NW.
NOTE: While Boca Negra is part of the Petroglyph National Monument, the Facility is managed by the City of Albuquerque Open Space Division.
