Do not Contact Individual Fire Stations
During Your Event, if a call for service should occur please note:
All fire stations are on an "available on radio" status during the event, which means that if they are dispatched, they have to respond to the emergency.
If the crew is not at the station when you arrive, please wait, they may be back in 10-20 minutes.
During a station tour, if crews receive a call for service, you will be escorted out of the station and to a safe place to watch the fire engine leave for the emergency.
If for any reason your event is canceled or the crew is not at the station, the tour can be rescheduled for a later date.
Requests for a fire prevention speaker for an Elementary school or business, call the Fire Marshal's Office at 505-764-6300.
We will do all we can to honor your request.
