Description

Dr. Richard Powell will speak on the diverse body of work created by African American artists in the 20th century and explore the period of major social upheaval and change that shaped an African American presence in modern and contemporary visual culture.

 

Price

General admission is $4 for Adults and Teens aged 13-64 ($3 for NM residents), $2 for Seniors aged 65+, and $1 for Children aged 4-12. Children under 4 and Museum Members are free. Admission is free on Saturdays from 2-5 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and the first Wednesday of every month.
